We were given other script and this included changes like the word knighting being changed to award and having the henchmen say the bad guy rabs is short which i thought was stronger then bad guy rabs saying it because it gave the henchmen more to say and gives clues that the henchmen is not evil or at least not a bad guy.
this is our final rehearsal before the main performance so we had to sharpen everything and have it up to its best. We rehearsal it and some changes that was made is that when the president was kidnapped me and jabets were covering her so we should spilt apart a little so the audience an see her. Another change we had to do is that the dialogue had to be more natural so when one character says a line the other character has to have their line prepared and ready so there is no awkward pauses unless the script says so.
Another thing we need to work on was our spacing when me and jabs were on stage we was covering each other and this needs to be fixed because if i cover jabs or vise versa then the audience are not going to say jabs or me and it will be a miserable experience for the audience and that is the opposite of what we want.
Since this is the final rehearsal i think i should say what i did well i remembered the whole script and considering that all of these are works in process i think it is worth mentioning and i now have a clear direction of this character with the character sheet work and the character mind session we did with Helen i feel like ven is another part of me and not just a character i play which is extremely important as an actor embodying these characters and playing them believably something you have to do and it is going to be sad when i eventlly have to part with ven when we do our final performance.
