We started out really strong jordan wrote a script and we titled it save the princess it was a simple story about two heroes trying to save the princess from the villain bad guy rabs. Me and jabets did mostly improv when playing the two main heroes and did what ever came to mind.
When we showed of what we did it was mixed Ella said that the story was too behind its time and overdone which I agreed with. In the story the two heroes were after the princess affection so we changed some things.
First thing we changed was the princess to the president which I thought was a good decision it also is very topical and gives Lauren a stronger performance. When we showed it off it was a lot better but they was a lot that needed to be changed.
I think what we done well was that we had a full script already that is a really strong start because it gives us a direction to go and even if our story isn’t that strong we have the basic structure down so it wouldn’t take that much rewriting.
I think one thing we need to do better is to establish our characters more like getting a good idea about our character like their backstory, their personality or their hobbies because right now i don’t really know who ven is really and how to act this character out and how to contrast jabs character because right now we are too similar and thats a problem.
